Lfgb certification in Germany

LMBG (Lebensmittel und bedarfsgegenstaende Gesetz) is the abbreviation of German food and daily necessities law. In September 2005, the new German food and diet law lfgb replaced the food and daily necessities law LMBG, and later changed its name to Lebensmittel und bedarfsgestagende und futermittelgesetzbuch (lfgb). It is the most important basic legal document in the field of food hygiene management in Germany, as well as the guideline and core of other special food hygiene laws and regulations. In recent years, it has also been revised, mainly to match with European standards. The regulations have made general and basic provisions on all aspects of German food. All foods on the German market and all food related daily necessities must comply with the above basic provisions. If the daily necessities in contact with food pass the test and comply with the German food and daily necessities law, they can be certified as "products without chemical toxic substances" by the LMBG / lfgb test report issued by the authorized agency, and can be sold in the German market.
